Kefir and Raspberry Ice Lollies

IMG_5354.jpeg

These Kefir and raspberry ice lollies are on repeat in our house at the moment. They are srummy, nutritious and can be easily adapted for any fruits you have in the house. Home made ice lollies free from refined sugar are a great way to get nutrients into your little ones, especially if they are fussy eaters or don’t have huge appetites. Here’s the recipe for ours:

Ingredients:
3- 4 tablespoons of plain kefir or full fat Greek yoghurt or coconut yoghurt if dairy free
2 handfuls frozen raspberries
1 very ripe banana
1 heaped tbsp cashew butter

Combine all the ingredients in a blender until you have a thick smoothie consistency. If it’s too thick, then loosen with a little plant milk. Pour mixture into lolly moulds and freeze for 3-4 hours until set.

We’ve also made these with mango and blueberries, so easy to mix up what fruit you add. You could also add some spinach to hide some extra veg in there!
